Booth + Banner Spaces

Booth/Table Reservation Information

The LBC offers 17 reservable indoor and outdoor booth/table locations.  Booths/tables may be reserved by Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) and university departments at no charge.  Booths/tables may be reserved by non-Tulane organizations for $20 per day.  Below are specific guidelines related to reserving a booth/table:

  • Indoor booth locations may be reserved Monday-Sunday from 7:00 am-11:00 pm.  Outdoor table locations may be reserved Monday-Friday from 8:30 am-6:30 pm.  
  • Booths/tables are offered in the following locations:
    • Inside the LBC
    • Berger Family Lawn patio
    • McAlister Pedestrian Way
    • Percival Stern breezeway
    • Bruff Commons
  • One booth/table location may be reserved per sponsor per day.
  • A booth/table location may be reserved for up to 5 days per month per event.
  • Non-Tulane organizations may only reserve indoor booth locations in the LBC.
  • RSOs, university departments, and non-Tulane organizations may not promote products or services that are in conflict with university resources or services.  For questions about potential conflicts of interest, contact the LBC Assistant Director of Events & Reservations.
  • Food or drink may be sold or distributed at outdoor booth locations only.
  • RSOs or university departments who wish to sponsor a non-Tulane organization must have a Tulane representative at the booth/table at all times.
  • Promotional materials are limited to the booth/table location only unless special permission is granted by the LBC Assistant Director for Events & Reservations.
  • No materials may be adhered to walls, trees, buildings, etc.
  • Booth/table sponsor must remain in reserved location.  
  • Booth/table sponsor must adhere to the university's Amplified Sound Policy.
  • The LBC reserves the right to deny booth/table reservation requests.

Booth Reservation Requests

Banner Space Reservation Information

The LBC offers 14 reservable banner spaces.  Banner space may be reserved by Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) and university departments at no charge.  Below are specific guidelines related to reserving a banner space:

  • Banner spaces are offered in the following locations:
    • Inside the LBC
    • Percival Stern breezeway
    • McAlister Way (requires IT through Facilities Services for banner hanging)
  • One banner space location may be reserved per sponsor per day.
  • Banner spaces may be reserved for up to 7 consecutive days per month.
  • It is highly recommended that, if using a vinyl banner, you request the sign manufacturer use reinforced stitching as well as add wind slits to avoid tearing due to wind and rain.
  • Banner sponsors needing the assistance of Facilities Services to hang banners must submit an Interdepartmental Order (IT) Form to Facilities Services at least two weeks in advance of their event. A fee is charged for this service.
  • The LBC reserves the right to deny banner reservation requests.

Banner Details by Location

  • Inside the LBC
    • There are 6 banner locations along the 2nd floor railings of the LBC lobby areas.
    • Banner should be brought to the LBC Information Desk either the day before or the day of the banner reservation.
    • LBC student employees will hang and remove the banner.
    • If you would like to reuse the banner at a later date you must retrieve your banner the day after your reservation ends. The banner may be picked up at the Information Desk. Banners left after 2 days will be discarded.
    • Banners may not exceed 3’-0” in height and 8’- 0” in length.
  • Percival Stern Breezeway
    • There are 6 banner locations under Percival Stern adjacent to PJ’s on the academic quad side.  These banner spaces are labeled 1 to 6 and are two different lengths.
    • Banners to be placed in spaces 1, 3 and 5 must be vinyl and measure 3’w x 3’h.  Banners to be hung in spaces 2, 4 and 6 must be vinyl and measure 7’w x 3’h.
  • McAlister Way
    • There is 1 banner location across McAlister Way.
    • The banner must be vinyl and measure 30 feet long by 4 feet high with D-ring grommets at each corner.  It is recommended to have a reinforced/folded corner with a large grommet.
    • Sponsors must submit an Interdepartmental Order (IT) Form to Facilities Services to hang the banner at least two weeks in advance of their banner reservation. A fee is charged for this service.
