Whitney Plantation is the only plantation museum in Louisiana with an exclusive focus on the lives of enslaved people. Visit Whitney’s memorials and restored buildings to enter the world of a Louisiana sugar plantation and to remember those who built and worked this property. On your walking tour, your guide shows you through slave cabins, a freedmen’s church, detached kitchen and outbuildings, a 1790s owner’s house and memorials built to honor the enslaved.

Tickets | Those interested in participating in this JAUNT will be permitted to claim a raffle entry to win a chance to see Mean Girls for $10. Raffle entry will open on Tuesday, February 11 at 12:01AM and will close on Tuesday, February 25 at 11:59PM. Winners will be randomly selected via a drawing on Friday, March 6 (live location TBA). The first ten (10) randomly selected will be offered a * free * ticket and all remaining winners will be offered a $10 ticket.
