Global Wildlife Center (FREE)

The Global Wildlife Center is one of the largest totally free-roaming wildlife preserves of its kind in the country! It is located in Folsom, Louisiana and it is home to over 1,000 exotic, endangered, and threatened animals from all over the world

Studio Be, The Reading Project (FREE)

Studio Be is home to local artist Brandan ‘Bmike’ Odums’ first solo project. The visual art housed in this 35,000 sq. ft. warehouse depicts the stories of revolutionaries, heroes, and everyday New Orleanians. This JAUNT trip is in partnership with the Reading Project.

International Markets Tour
Sunday, October 20

Take a trip around the New Orleans area visiting three of our incredible international markets - Hong Kong Market (Westbank), International Market (Metairie), and Ideal Market (Metairie). The trip will be hosted by local foodie, Nicole Caridad who curates the mouthwatering @EatenPathNOLA Instagram. Nicole will touch on some of the unique flavors and traditions from around the world as well as briefly discuss some of the politics surrounding food. Students will have the chance to shop around each of the markets for a few minutes before departing for the next location.
