The LBC & Commons loading dock is located at 6805 Freret St. New Orleans, LA 70118. The loading dock has a square footage of 4,963.07 ft. It includes 3 loading dock bays and 5 parking spaces which are available by reservation only.
The primary purpose of the loading dock is for deliveries and loading/unloading of vehicles only. The loading dock is not a parking facility. No unattended vehicles and/or those without reservation are allowed in the loading dock.
Requests can be made for one-time deliveries or one-time loading/unloading needs at the loading dock. This may be used for special events or projects in the LBC, Commons, Devlin Fieldhouse, or Jones Hall. Complete the Loading Dock Request Form at least 2 business days prior to the delivery with your request details including date, time, and type of access needed. Your request form will be reviewed and you will receive confirmation for your delivery via email once approved.
A limited number of parking spaces is available on the loading dock by request only. Parking is limited to maximize the available space for deliveries and essential loading dock operations. However, we recognize there may be times when loading dock parking is needed for activities in the LBC, Commons, Devlin Fieldhouse, or Jones Hall.
To request parking, complete the Loading Dock Request Form at least 2 business days prior to the date parking is needed with your request details including date, time, and number of parking spaces needed. Your request form will be reviewed and you will receive confirmation via email if parking space is available.
If a space is available, a space will be assigned by the Loading Dock Master or designee and a Loading Dock Parking Permit will be provided. The permit should be printed and posted on the driver’s side of the vehicle so it is visible.
Any unauthorized parking may result in vehicle being ticketed or towed.
